Not satisfied with simple construction project, the B-Active program elevates itself above the tired “donation” model of corporate citizenship programs by actively engaging a wide range of stakeholders from the municipality, the town’s Department of Health, to local aerobics community and its leaders. Through on-ground training workshops and online interactive, the community members were empowered with greater medical knowledge and a strengthened bond.

The park’s opening ceremony and aerobics session were joined by Buriram’s deputy mayor and Bridgestone Thailand’s managing director, along with hundreds community members. To this day, the park is used daily for exercise and is known among the locals as “Bridgestone Park.”
